I went with the Works because Mike was the only person who didn’t guarantee he could remove 100% of the odor, but promised to try his best. This struck me as honest, and after dealing with used car salesmen, honest was exactly what I was looking for.

What is paint correction?

Paint correction is a term that describes various processes that are used to recondition existing paint to produce the maximum shine, color and visual depth of your car’s finish. The Works is a leader in developing and applying techniques to remove: scratches, oxidation

and hazing while preserving and protecting you car’s existing paint finish. Through light wet sanding and multiple applications of reducing abrasive compounds and polishes, our technicians can achieve results that restore “showroom shine.”

What is Ceramic Coating?

Chances are you have heard of a ceramic coating. You might have heard of it as a glass coating or a nano coating. Ceramic coatings have become very popular, and for good reason. They are awesome, and it is one of the best ways to protect the finish of your paint on your vehicle. One of the things about a ceramic coating that is probably the coolest, is the hydrophobic properties. After you have done a ceramic coating, the water beads up, falls off and goes running for the hills. It makes dirt easily removed, it makes your washing process much easier and less damaging. However, a ceramic coating can still be scratched if care is not taken, but it scratches far less then your naked clear coat does. You want to have your finish swirl free and pretty much perfect before you do any sort of ceramic coating, so that once the ceramic coating is applied, there is an even surface, and the ceramic coating can last.
