Ceramic Pro 9H is a multi-layerable, clear, liquid nano-ceramic coating. When cured, this technology will transform itself on the surface to a permanent, durable yet flexible glass shield. Ceramic Pro can be described as an additional clear coat, with 3 times the hardness. As seen in the short video below, the remarkable hydrophobic (water repelling) properties of ceramic coatings is responsible for what is referred to as its self-cleaning properties.
Ceramic coatings are sometimes referred to as "glass" coatings because they are made from short polymers (molecular chains) of silicon dioxide (main component of glass) with hydrophobic (water repelling) hydrocarbon groups along the backbone of the polymer chains.
When exposed to water vapor in the air, these short polymers further link to form longer polymers and they also cross-link with each other. This is referred to as "curing." Other chemicals in the process form molecular bonds between these silicon polymers and the clear coat of your vehicle. When fully cured (up to two weeks) it is as if one giant flexible "glass" molecule is protecting the entire surface of your vehicle. Since this network of polymers are molecularly (covalently) bonded, it is extremely strong and therefore each layer only needs to be a few microns thick (25 microns = 1/1,000th of an inch).

We also offer wheels-off Caliper Coatings (3 Year Warranty). All of our ceramic coating services are also available on an à la carte basis. Excellent service! I had my vehicle in town while and I was away- it was dropped off and detailed while I took care of business- came back to a polished car! It was very satisfying to see the level of detail they took to cleaning the interior and exterior. I will absolutely be back.
If you want it done right go to The Works. Whether it's just to get your car really clean (not just washed) or to have some serious paint correction and/or polishing done these guys have the skills and the commitment to get the job done at a very high level. I won't take my car anywhere else in Boulder.
Managed to get an appointment for a wash and wax on short notice (same day). Drove our Mustang cross country and picked up tons of bugs along the way. In one hour, Leo and his crew did an amazing job! I'd highly recommend them and will make sure to bring it back whenever it needs another bath and polish.
