In addition to offering a sense of privacy and enhancing the beauty of your vehicle's exterior, window tint provides other advantages for your comfort and the protection of interior components. It blocks harmful ultraviolet (UV) and heat-causing infrared (IR) radiation, which is particularly important at high altitudes in sunny Colorado.
When considering window tint, you might wonder, “How dark should I go?” Instead of focusing on the amount of light blocked, window tint manufacturers refer to how much light is transmitted—known as Visible Light Transmission (VLT). For instance, a film with a 35% VLT allows only 35% of outside visible light into your vehicle (meaning 65% is blocked).
Equally important is the film's ability to block invisible but harmful ultraviolet (UV) rays and heat-generating infrared (IR) radiation, measured as Ultraviolet Rejection (UVR) and Infrared Rejection (IRR, or simply IR). No matter the VLT you choose, all our window tint films block over 99% of harmful UV light (UVR > 99%). Our KAVACA Ceramic IR line is specially designed to reject heat-causing IR rays.
The overall sunlight blocked (both visible and invisible) is called Total Solar Energy Rejection (TSER). Additionally, window tints help minimize glare—that distracting brightness we all recognize. The extent to which your chosen tint reduces this is simply termed Glare Reduction.
I had my Porsche Cayman detailed here in July 2019 but forgot to update my review until now. They did an excellent job on the detail and the whole car was made shiny and spotless. I got the Essentials Detail (interior and exterior), plus the clay bar to clean off some oxidation in the paint, and then a wax
I took both of my cars to the Works. Leo and his team were fantastic to deal with and the attention to detail was amazing. When Leo and his team were done, my cars looked as close to the day I drove them off the lot. Big THUMBS UP to the Works !
I cannot rave enough about this place. They were able to get rid of dog hair trapped in places that I wasn't able to get to (and I have all the fancy Miele vacuum heads specific for this kind of detailing.) The guy were friendly, efficient, helpful, and I didn't feel like I was being up sold. Yes, it's expensive, but given the quality of their...
Was absolutely amazed by the quality of work. I had a full interior detail and minor paint correction with a cermaic coating. My car is a 2007 so it was quite dirty on the inside and the paint had many swirls. The interior detail turned out better than I imagined. They got all the stains removed, which some of the stains I thought were...
